Travis Lunsford of Garrison, Baptist minister. Mrs. McVey died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1991, in Nacogdoches. Born March 29, 1914 in Garrison, she was the daughter of James H. and Jane Ruth Green Langston. She was a lifetime resident of Garrison, taught school several years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Garrison. She and Edward B. McVey were married, and he died in 1986. Surviving are son, James C. McVey of Garrison; daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Saucier of Baton Rouge, La; and brother, James Langston of Augusta, Ga. Cousins were pallbearers.
