Graveside services for W.S. "Scotty" Hamilton, 67 of Karnack, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Scottsville Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Corrigan officiating. Arrangements are by the Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hamilton died at 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan . 17, 1988, at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler following an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 25, 1920, in Marshall, a son of William Parks Hamilton and Flossie Scott Hamilton. He attended Marshall public schools. He married Elma L. Ogle on Oct. 11, 1978, in Marshall. He was a plumber with W.S. Hamilton Plumbing Company from 1946-1978. He was a Baptist and served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of Karnack; three daughters, two sons, nine grandchildren; three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be staff of Sullivan Funeral Home.
The body will be a the funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
