RICHMOND — David Ray “Dave, The Wave” Shepperson, 42, of Norwood Dr., passed away Monday, August 01, 2011 at the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center. Dave was born in Elizabethtown, Ky., May 14, 1969, to the Rev. Ralph and the late Wanda Alice Day Shepperson. He was a member of the Lancaster Road Church of God. Survivors include: his wife, Connie Price Shepperson; one son, Josh Shepperson (LeeAnn); his daughter, Amber Shepperson, both of Richmond; his sister-in-law, Christina King (Tommy); his niece, Sydney King; his nephew, Brandon Campbell; his “honorary children,” Brandon, Eric, Beth and Bryce Stewart and Nick Mason; and his “honorary grandchildren,” Cameron Stewart and Jaelynn Miles. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lancaster Road Church of God, 1246 Lancaster Rd., Richmond, with the Rev. Butch Payne and the Rev. Owen Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Viney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church and after 11 a.m. Thursday until service time. Pallbearers will be Nick Mason, John Partin, Dwight Horn, Eric Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Jentry Moore, Jacob Strange and Rick Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Hoover and Bryce Stewart.
