A native of Allen Parrish, La., Mr. Talton was a son of the late Charles Lewis and Lillie Harper Talton and the widower of Pauline Boynton Talton. He was a retired machinist at Owen Illnois Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church in Valdosta and Sam Todd Masonic Lodge in Sugar Town, La. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Carson-McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Sharpton officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Valdosta.
