    • Funeral for Mrs. Ola Mae Banks Barrett, 91, of Route 6, Box 3120, Nacogdoches, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Rev. Roy Mobley of Lone Star Baptist Church and Rev. W.F. Dill of Nat Baptist Church will officiate.

      Mrs. Barrett died Friday, Sept. 2, in North Place Nursing Home in Nacogdoches.

      Born June 26, 1897 in Sarepta, La., she was the daughter of Claud A. and Lydia Denman Sandlin. She was married to James Acey Banks who died in 1954, and she was then married to Frank Barrett who died in 1979. She was a lifetime resident of Nacogdoches County and was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.

      Survivors include three sons, Raymond A. Banks of Nacogdoches, Franklin D. (Len) Banks of Garrison and James Robert Banks of Nacogdoches; five daughters, Georgia Mae Hutchison of Nacogdoches, Bessie Faye Newman of Diboll, Lydia J. Matlock and Alma Clifton of Nacogdoches and Betty Rene Ceney of Monroe, La.; a sister, Nancy Scroggins of Garrison, 30 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

      Pallbearers will be grandsons, Neal Thomas Clifton, Ray Matlock, Donis Banks, James Banks, Thomas O. Matlock and Danny Coats.

      Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Saturday, and the family requests memorials be donations to a church of choice.

      Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors of Nacogdoches.
