      Robert W. Adams of Scarsdale, NY on August 17, 2003 at age 75. Mr. Adams was a graduate of Scarsdale High School, Yale University and Union Theological Seminary. He practiced as a minister in Stamford, CT for several years. In 1958, he joined the textile firm of Logantex, Inc. in New York City, as Treasurer, and remained with the firm until his retirement in 1993. Mr. Adams was a longtime member of the Shenorock Shore Club in Rye, Fox Meadow Tennis Club in Scarsdale, the Society of Colonial War, and the Yale Club in New York City. Mr. Adams married Marian Logan, also from Scarsdale, in September 1951. He was the devoted father and father-in-law of Nancy Adams Dexter and Bruce P. Dexter of Bedford, NY and of Robert L. Adams and Jane Fletcher Adams of Dallas, Texas; proud grandfather of Katherine Lee Dexter and Elizabeth Adams; and loving brother of James F. Adams of Chambersburg, PA and Mary Louise Gaudian of Burke, VA. Donations in his name may be made to Yale University or the Scarsdale Congregational Church. Burial will be private.
