Stewart C. Cannon, senior vice president of First National Bank of Oregon and a native of Portland, died Friday at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was 63.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Church. Office of the Dead will be 4 p.m. Sunday in the Hennessey, Goetsch & MGee Chapel. Interment will in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Cannon, who lived at 2533 S. W. Hamilton Court, was born in Portland March 28, 1913 and spent portions of his boyhood in Toledo, Oregon and Hood River. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and had been with the bank 28 years. He was a member of Multnomah Athletic Club.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Jean; two stepsons, Charles Volz of Mill Valley, California and Daniel Volz of Eugene, Oregon; a stepdaughter, Claudia J. Razdik of Tygh Valley, Oregon and five grandchildren; a brother, Kessler Cannon of Washington, D.C. and two sisters, Julia Buck of Portland and Louise Snyder of Prineville, Oregon.
The family suggests remembrances to the University of Oregon Medical School Advancement Fund.
