      Mrs Harriet C Vaughan an AZ resident for 60 years died this morning in a local hospital, she was 81 years old. She had resided with her daughter Mrs Evelyn Davenport at 3653 Presido road.

      Mrs Vaughan was born in England and was 21 when she came to the US en route to Australia to visit relatives. She stopped in Benson to visit a brother when she met Frank Vaughan an Indian scout and member of the board of exminers of the Territorial Government under Gov Hunt. They married a year later and resided in Tombstone and Bisbee. Mr Vaughan died in 1937 and since then she resided in Tucson.

      Other survivors are a daughter Mrs Harriet Ramsower Tucson and 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Reilly's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Rosary will be recited here and the body will be sent to Bisbee for Burial in the family plot. The Bisbee Knights of Columbus will act as Pall Bearers as Mr Vaughan was a charter member of the K of C in that City.
